TikTok Star Chris Olsen Says He ‘Almost Went Home With’ a Big Artist at the Grammys, Jokes About Who It Might Be

Chris Olsen opened up about hanging out with a mystery man with a big following the night of the 2023 Grammys.

The 25-year-old TikTok star spoke about his experience on social media, revealing how it all went down and why he turned down the offer to go back to the star’s home.

He also shared if they had been in contact since the big night together.

“During the Grammys, a low-life TikToker like me is separated from the main area with all the artists,” he said in a video on TikTok. “So I really didn’t get to talk to anyone and I also didn’t really expect to.”

While the main event wasn’t an opportunity to network, Chris said that the afterparties provided more of an opportunity to mingle.

“While I’m about to go home, my friend texts me and he’s like ‘Do you want to come to this other [party] where there are like some of the artists? And nominees are here,’” he recalled. “When I arrive I realize that he wasn’t lying. There are a lot of people I recognize there.”

Chris‘ friend was in a group that he recognized near the back of the party.

“He starts introducing me to some of these people, some of which I definitely don’t need to be introduced to them. Like, I know who they are already. Then one of the guys who I certainly know introduces himself to me, and we end up kind of sparking a little bit of a convo,” he said.

Being in the back, Chris added that he could “barely hear a word this man was saying.” He said it was “a good excuse to be physically close together,” but they went outside to hear each other better.

While he said it was a “once in a f-cking lifetime” opportunity, he was starting to get tired when he was invited to follow the mystery man to another party and then “go back to [his] place after.”

“I’m like maybe it’ll add some allure if I say I have to head home. So I make up a lie and say I have something early the next morning, and he’s like ‘When can I see you again?’ Which I guess is like bare minimum, but I’m like swoon,” he shared.

Chris said that he hadn’t reached out again yet. He also cleared the air that he was not talking about Harry Styles.

In the comments section, Chris told a fan who thought it was Harry that they had “too much faith” in him. He also joked that the mystery man was James Corden. Others speculated that it was Best New Artist nominee Omar Apollo, but he didn’t appear to respond to those messages.

Chris was previously dating fellow TikTok star Ian Paget, and he opened up about the end of their relationship last year.
