True Love Is Dead: Pamela Anderson And Jon Peters Split Up 12 Days After Marrying

When Pamela Anderson, 52, married her ex-boyfriend from the 80s, Hollywood super-producer Jon Peters, 74, she shared a poem she wrote in which she described their beautiful union as “God’s plan.” Well, God’s plan was apparently for Pammy to keep looking like the daffy messcake that we all know and have rolled our eyes at for the last four decades love. People reports that Pam and Jon have split up (again) 12 days after secretly marrying.

Pam isn’t saying what killed their rediscovered love but she did toss us some word salad to reveal that there’s no official documentation that this mess actually happened.

“I have been moved by the warm reception to Jon and my union,” the actress and activist, 52, said in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter. “We would be very grateful for your support as we take some time apart to re-evaluate what we want from life and from one another. Life is a journey and love is a process. With that universal truth in mind, we have mutually decided to put off the formalization of our marriage certificate and put our faith in the process. Thank you for respecting our privacy.”

And yes, sources say that they didn’t file the legal paperwork for their Jan 20 wedding. Here’s a pic she had up on her Instagram eight days after they got hitched that has since been taken down.

This was the fifth marriage for both of them. So all signs pointed to this being a forever thing because they’re both obviously skilled at marrying so who knows what could have split them asunder so quickly? Maybe Pam found out that marrying Jon Peters didn’t automatically give her shopping access to his ex Barbra’s Streisand’s underground mall? Why else would you marry Jon Peters (besides the whole “$200 million net worth” thing).
